The Religious Education Program runs from mid-September through mid-May.  Grades one through five meet on Wednesday afternoons from 2:15-3:45 PM and grades six through eight meet on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-7:45 PM. Please note the change in the Tuesday night class time.  We participate in early release time from school, which allows the students, with permission, to leave school early in order to attend religious education classes.

Come join us for Mass on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM where we celebrate separate Liturgy of the Word for children.  From Pre-Kindergarten to fourth grade, your children will be taken downstairs to the Parish Center where they will be provided their own grade level instruction on the Sunday readings.  They will sing songs and share their faith with their friends. They will also be invited up to the altar during Mass to see the priest up close and share the sign of peace with one another. You will not want your children to miss out on this beautiful Liturgy that will help them to grow their friendship with Jesus and allow them to feel comfortable coming to Mass, a place where they can be themselves and want to continue to come back!

We are blessed to have wonderful catechists that are so generous in sharing their faith with our students.  We have small class sizes that foster individual attention to each student. The following catechists make our program a success and are an integral part of our parish.

RCIA

The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is a process for those who are inquiring about the Catholic faith. This group gathers weekly to reflect on the scriptures, God’s place in their lives, and the teaching and traditions of the Catholic Church. More information about the sacramental preparation of adults can be obtained by calling the Religious Education office.

Adult Faith Formation Team

Faith formation for Christians is a life-long task, and one that we enthusiastically embrace, recognizing that it encompasses different challenges and opportunities as we age and as our circumstances change.

Our team purpose is to use our faith commitment and creativity to plan and initiate a wide spectrum of spiritual and educational offerings so that our adult parishioners can continue to grow in faith and holiness.

We have recently sponsored a Lenten Retreat, Days of Recollection for Advent and Lent, Film/Discussions, Lenten Faith Sharing Groups, Art Shows and more. We are working on Bible-Study Groups, and other ideas.

We welcome your suggestions, participation, and support. Let us know what would help you on your spiritual journey.
